So many good things to say about our fantastic stay there but what I felt really stood out the most was the customer service. The owner / operator could not have been nicer or more helpful and really made us feel very welcome! This is a dog friendly motel and had no hidden clauses or fees and when I first called and asked about the dog policy the owner simply stated we allow dogs :) that's our policy! The motel is a motel, it is not a Five Star Resort and was described perfectly. Freshly remodeled room, new beds, new paint, was really nice and much more than I expected. Everyone is sure to mention how clean the rooms are because ours was spotless, not a stain, piece of trash or any sign that someone previously occupied the room. We came to the area to visit the Alligator Wildlife Refuge and other local parks but found that we definitely need to return with much more time to spend. There is very little to eat in Plymouth primarily fast food with long lines but the Food Lion was nice and new, clean and great prices since there was a fridge and microwave in the room we were well fed all the same. Please don't stay there to watch TV, however, they are small and we couldn't figure out how to work it but we just put it on the one channel it wanted to get and the dogs were fine with Sponge Bob.
Booked a reservation here to break up a trip to the Outer Banks. Perfect for what we needed. Showed up at around 1 in morning and was able to check in. Clean room, beds and a bathroom. Exactly what you would expect from a well priced roadside motel.
I booked through Priceline and from the exterior view I was like UH OH but once I got in my room I was pleasantly surprised by FAR! The rooms are CLEAN all newly renovated and the TVs are all ROKU TVs you have Netflix for the night, and anything else you want to watch!! I will definitely go back! Great value and the guy who owns it is very professional and very friendly!!
